Dramatic Contemporary Bathroom Design In Ovingdean

Sophisticated Urban Vibes: Embracing Villeroy & Boch’s ‘Finion’ Range

This client had fallen in love with the stunning ‘Finion’ range from Villeroy & Boch and so we created this design around the Finion vanity and box-shelving in Deep Red. They wanted to achieve an urban/contemporary feel which we created by adding in the matt black wall-hung WC and towel rail. We also painted the ceiling dark and included industrial-style brassware.

The wood-effect flooring brings in some warmth and the feel of raw materials that characterise urban designs, and the marble-effect tiling in the shower area creates the luxurious high-end feel the clients wanted. The playful addition of two vertical painted lines connects the ceiling with the floor to bring coherence to the scheme.

We created two recesses for the client to display their favourite accessories and to make use of the space next to the WC. Painted black these bring the design together perfectly.
