Frequently Asked Questions

We have a large showroom with 13 display bays. We aim to showcase a broad range of our suppliers’ products across a variety of finishes, styles and price points. We also have sample boards showing colour ranges and finishes for products we don’t have on display. The aim of this is to provide inspiration but also to enable you to get a very good impression of the quality and style of the products you are ordering.

We work with over a hundred  of the most well-known and up and coming suppliers in the bathroom industry so that we can ensure we find a product that’s the perfect fit for you. Many of our suppliers are listed on our home page. If you tell us what you are looking for we are confident we can find you the perfect fit.

We charge a £300 deposit for our design service which is refunded in full when you place your product order with us. This covers the time it takes to put the design and quotations together and order samples for you. Therefore, as long as you order your products with us your design is essentially free of charge.

We do not release your designs and plans until you have placed your product order with us at Pier1. However, you are welcome to come into the showroom to see them when you wish or we are happy to show the designs to your installer in our showroom so that they can price the job.

If you are ordering products that are in stock they will arrive to us within 2-5 working days. If you are ordering bespoke (made to order) products these can take between 4-8 weeks to arrive. Occasionally even non-bespoke products can go out of stock, in which case we will let you know the expected delivery date. This is why we would always encourage you to place your product order as soon as possible.

Once we have finalised your product requirements we will invoice for the products in full to lock in the prices and ensure they do not go out of stock. Once they arrive into us we will check them over and store them in our warehouse for you free of charge for 3 months (from the date of order). Following this, we will either deliver your products if you are able to take them, or we will continue to store them at a small charge of £50 + VAT per month.

If you are using our design service we will provide your installers with full plans and lay-outs of your bathrooms design, including technical notes and specifications of the products included. We will also provide rendered images of your design from a range of angles to guide the installation team. If you are purchasing products only without a design we will always provide as much information as we can for your installers but we would not produce a full plan and technical specification.

No. We work with a small number of recommended installers who we trust will provide a professional service and a superb finish, and with whom we have a very close working relationship. We can therefore obtain full costings for you and we will work together with them to make sure everything runs smoothly on site. All of our recommended installers are, however, independent companies and they offer their own guaranties for their work and their own terms and conditions.

We deliver every Tuesday. You can therefore select whichever Tuesday works best for you. As long as your products are with us, if you need to bring your delivery forward or push it back we can be very flexible.

We will usually deliver all products to you in one drop. However, if you have bespoke items on a longer lead time we will happily drop these off separately if you need everything else sooner.

We do not offer finance. We accept payment for products in full via bank transfer or card payment.
