Bedroom with Copper Bath and Adjoining En-suite

This beautiful bedroom and en-suite were created as part of a full home refurb. The clients wanted to create a sophisticated adult space out of bounds from their little ones!

The newly created en-suite space was modest in size, but we optimised the area to include a shower enclosure and a beautiful feature mirror and basin. The clients loved the look of a wall-mounted WC and so we built that wall out which allowed for the shower to be concealed in the wall with a lit recess for bottles. We chose marble stone penny-tiles for the floor coupled with the stunning wall panelling which adds a wonderful texture and intrigue to the scheme. We opted for a short profile concrete basin to tie in with the natural stone floor which offered the required walk-through space and prevented the room from feeling cramped. The wall opposite the WC was bare and so we decided to add a feature-lit recess here also. The shower space is kept light with multi-tonal neutral tiles to compliment the calming colour palette. The design is finished with some beautiful wall lights placed asymmetrically next to the mirror to create the perfect balance overall.

This lovely couple were desperate for a bath they didn’t have to share with their little ones. Without the space in the en-suite, we embraced the ample bedroom area and beautiful bay window by adding a stunning Cooper boat bath for the ultimate luxury.
