En-suite with Moroccan Themes

These clients wanted an adult en-suite and loved the Moroccan style.

The most iconic Moroccan architectural feature is the Moorish arch and so our first idea was to create this as a feature entrance to the room. We echoed this in the shaping of the vanity area including a beautiful arched mirror and an arched recess on the opposite wall. We opted for neutral colours inspired by the dessert and North African landscapes and added texture, which is important in Moroccan design, by combining the stunning terracotta square tiles with the beautiful rose marble mosaics. Brushed brass accessories were the only option for this scheme to bring the warmth it needed. We included a double shower for that real sense of luxury in a bathroom space for two. The bespoke vanity drawer offered plenty of storage to keep the space clear of clutter.
