Statement Restroom : Creating a Dark and Striking Bathroom Design
This client took their inspiration from The Ivy restaurant in London which is famous for its statement restrooms. They wanted a dark, striking design which would blow their guests away.
We built out the back wall to hide the WC cistern, which also enabled us to incorporate a hidden cupboard to hide the toilet rolls and bleach.
We created a feature wall with gold wallpaper and sprayed the ceiling gold to match!
The black WC and basin from Globo really set the scheme off and we incorporated a towel rail which was colour-matched to the wall colour to tie everything in, creating a really striking design.
