Large Contemporary Space Featuring Green Marble

The property had a lot of Edwardian features including beautiful coving and a large arched recess which we agreed should be worked into the design to ensure the bathroom remained in sync with the feel and flow of the rest of the home. We opted for a green colour palette, creating a feeling of being closer with nature and all the perks that come with that, such as boosting our mood and soothing our stress. This was showcased in the luxurious large format marble-effect tiles. The arched recess was the perfect location for a feature vanity area and so we made this pop with a beautiful wooden unit which complimented the warm veining in the marble, a large statement mirror and dimmable spot lights over-head. We made a further feature of this area by selecting the stunning smaller squared tiles which varied in green tones and textures and extended behind the wc area to bring the space together. We built out the wall behind the WC to accommodate a rimless wall-hung toilet, but instead of bringing this all the way over to the basin area, we stopped short allowing us to add bespoke shelving to create surfaces for displaying plants and candles.

The spacious walk-in shower features a lit recess for storing bottles and the brushed-black brassware which is minimalist in style extends throughout the space maintaining the modern feel. The floor tiles are concrete effect and large format to minimise the grout and further add to the illusion of space and openness. The addition of botanical plants and accessories finishes the design off perfectly.
