What's the difference between a traditional sauna and an infrared sauna?: A traditional sauna heats the air to high temperatures using a heater and stones, while an infrared sauna uses infrared panels to warm the body directly at lower temperatures. Both offer a relaxing wellness experience, with the right choice depending on your personal preference and lifestyle.
Can I install a sauna in a normal bathroom?: Yes. Many modern saunas are designed to fit within a bathroom or adjoining space. We’ll assess your layout, ventilation and available space to determine the most suitable solution.
Do I need planning permission for a home sauna?: In most cases, indoor home saunas do not require planning permission. However, building regulations and electrical requirements may apply, particularly for larger or bespoke installations.
How much space is needed for a steam room?: Steam rooms can be designed for a wide range of spaces, from compact steam showers to dedicated wellness rooms. We’ll help you maximise the available space while ensuring the room performs efficiently.
Can a steam shower replace a normal shower?: Absolutely. A steam shower functions as a standard shower for everyday use while offering the added benefit of a luxurious steam experience whenever you choose.
What is an experience shower?: An experience shower combines features such as rainfall, body jets, varying water temperatures, ambient lighting and sometimes aromatherapy to create an immersive, spa-like experience.
What brands do you recommend?: We work with trusted premium wellness brands including Effe, Tylö and Steamist, selecting the most suitable products based on your space, design aspirations and budget.
How much does a home wellness room cost?: Every project is unique. Costs vary depending on the products, size of the space and level of specification. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your requirements and provide a tailored design and quotation.
Can wellness products be added during a renovation?: Yes. A bathroom renovation is often the ideal opportunity to incorporate wellness features, as electrical, plumbing and ventilation requirements can be planned from the outset.
What electrical and ventilation requirements are needed?: Requirements vary depending on the products you choose. Most wellness installations require dedicated electrical supplies and carefully designed ventilation to ensure safe, efficient and long-lasting performance. We coordinate these technical requirements with your installer as part of the design process.

Having visited our home and talked with us, Imman presented a clever solution that really surprised us and matched our taste and priorities. The products to choose from are vast and quality; visuals are very helpful; changes of mind (during this early stage) are easily accommodated. We are very happy with our design and the quality of the fitting.  One small point is that there was a slight underestimate of the number of wall tiles needed, which meant a delay in completing the project. However, additional tiles were ordered and the delay was kept to a minimum. The standard of work by their recommended fitter was really very good and he coped with everything thrown at him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend  Pier 1 bathrooms.
